Mohamad Haffar started his career with Edwards Theatres as a staff member and ascended through the ranks to Executive Vice President and Special Assistant to the Founder and Chairman of the Board. Haffar spearheaded the design and construction of more than 85 theatres and directed a staff of more than 1500 members in his tenure with Edwards.
In 2001, he founded Haffar Entertainment Group (HEG) and EMR concession Services to provide consulting services to the Theatre Exhibitors and the entertainment industry.
In 2003 Haffar became a Co-Founder of Maya Cinemas and served as President and Chief Operating Officer until 2018. Haffar has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for several different organizations and on the MPAA Ratings Appeal Board. Mohamad looks forward to utilizing his experience, skills, and work ethics to serve as a president of of the American Lebanese Tripolian Organization.
